The Luxembourg National Library takes place in an old building that was built in the seventies for office spaces. The construction is made of prefabricated concrete panels.
The building is dull. Nevertheless it can be powerful if its main characters (big size, repetition, unity) are emphasised.
The concrete envelope delimits a huge single room where the reading-rooms take place. The repetition is accentuated by curved glass-panes.
