The city of Bordeaux is continuing to develop along the bank of the Garonne opposite its historic center.
Bordeaux-Brazza, a new district, lies at the mouth of the Jacques Chaban-Delmas Bridge, which connects the eastern and western parts of the city.
The site is subject to flooding.
The urban plan for Bordeaux Brazza was designed by the architect Youssef Thome, the landscape architect being Michel Desvignes. The lot on which we operate will be overseen by SNC Cogedim-Aquitaine.
We are responsible for the urban coordination of a strip perpendicular to the river, the Roques district, which will be built on 17 000 sqm, mainly dedicated to housing.
We are the architects of about 8 000 m² of housing and for a silo of 145 parking places.
All the housing units benefit from transversal natural light and large balconies or loggias.
The architectural specifications define four typologies : simple buildings that are parts of a 600 m long urban facade along the Garonne, buildings on stilts surrounded by trees, “capable volumes” - constructions the taker can arrange his own way - and rational parking buildings.
